/Banish the winter blues and join me for an exciting day of looking at art.
Come see the studio of Diane Christiansen, whose provocative paintings and installations explore themes of interconnectedness, impermanence and decay. Christiansen's work has been exhibited internationally, including the Edinburgh College of Art, Scotland, the St. Louis Contemporary Art Museum and the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art. In 2016, Christiansen and Jeanne Dunning created "Birth Death Breath: An Inflatable Opera" that premiered at the Elmhurst Art Museum. At Corbett vs. Dempsey we will see Magalie Guerin's strong, poetic paintings that transform everyday objects into suggestive semi abstractions. Andrew Holmquist's vibrant abstract drawings and ceramics, explode with colors and shapes. His work will be exhibited at Carrie Secrist Gallery. Enjoy lunch at the lively Little Goat Diner.
Broaden your knowledge of art and explore Chicago's art community in a small group atmosphere, with personalized attention.
