October 11, 2012

Join me for an exciting day that begins with a visit to the Roger Brown Study Collection (RBSC) and continues on to explore painting at two Chicago galleries.

We will visit the former home, studio and art collection of leading Chicago Imagist painter Roger Brown, whose radiant images were passionately political and formally dazzling. The RBSC contains Brown's extensive art collection, found objects and original furniture. Brown's work is in many museum collections including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. At Shane Campbell Gallery you will see John McAllister's optically intense and elegant paintings evocative of Matisse. Perimeter Gallery will be exhibiting renowned artist Robert Kushner's beautiful Japanese influenced collages. Enjoy lunch at Karyn's Cooked restaurant.

Broaden your knowledge of art and explore Chicago’s art community in a small group atmosphere, with personalized attention.

I hope you can join us! Space is limited, so call to reserve your place or for more information. I would also love to create a customized tour for a special personal or corporate occasion.
