October 4, 2013

Join me for an exciting day that begins with a visit to an artist's studio and continues on to explore painting and drawing at two West Loop galleries.

Come see the studio of Anna Kunz, whose colorful paintings and installations are populated with organic shapes, derived less from nature than from imagination, art and popular culture. Kunz's work has been included in numerous national and international exhibitions. At Rhona Hoffman Gallery you will see an exhibit of Judy Ledgerwood's sensual paintings called "Love, Power and Color." Carrie Secrist Gallery will be exhibiting the bold, vibrant paintings of Andrew Holmquist. Enjoy lunch at the colorful Wishbone restaurant.
