Join me for an exciting day that begins with a visit to an artist's studio and continues on to explore painting and photography at two West Loop galleries.

Come visit the studio of Magalie Guerin whose richly surfaced, meditative canvases transform everyday objects into suggestive semi-abstractions. Newcity Art listed Guerin's show at Corbett vs. Dempsey, as one of their "Top 5 of Everything: 2014: Art." Angel Otero, said to be among today’s fastest rising young painters, will be exhibiting his exciting new silicone and pigment paintings at Kavi Gupta Gallery. Jessica Labatte's gorgeous abstract photographs will be exhibited at Western Exhibitions. Enjoy lunch at the colorful Wishbone Restaurant.
