June 30, 2021

Join me for an exciting day that begins with a visit to an artist's studio and continues on to explore painting and sculpture at two Chicago galleries.

Come see the studio of Judith Mullen, whose work is inspired by nature and wandering in the forest. In Judith’s words, “Interweaving elements of the natural world with the man-made is an attempt to find a balance between strength and fragility while keeping open the possibility for change and transformation….” Judith has exhibited her work nationally for the past 20 years. Last fall she had a terrific show at Devening Projects. At Corbett vs. Dempsey, we will see exciting new work by Molly Zuckerman-Hartung who pushes the boundaries of traditional two-dimensional painting with abstract sculptural works that embrace collage, found objects and weaving. Samuel Levi Jones’ stunning paintings created from deconstructed book covers will be exhibited at Patron Gallery’s beautiful new space. Enjoy lunch at the delicious Southwestern restaurant Flo.

Broaden your knowledge of art and explore Chicago's art community in a small group atmosphere, with personalized attention.
