June 22, 2022

Celebrate summer by joining me for an exciting day of looking at art.

Come see the studio of Glenn Wexler, who creates fascinating photo-based installations and prints that are urban themed with a cultural and environmental awareness. Wexler’s ongoing LED illuminated Transit Series is a photographic journey through cities around the world. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, the Chicago Cultural Center, the Rockford Art Museum and Art Fiera, Bologna Italy. At Richard Gray Gallery we will meet David Klamen, who will discuss his stunning new ceramic sculptures, a departure from the beautiful meditative paintings he is known for. At Corbett vs. Dempsey, we will see Magalie Guérin’s vibrantly patterned abstract paintings whose sensual shapes and gorgeous palate will draw you in. Enjoy lunch at the colorful Southwestern restaurant Flo.

Broaden your knowledge of art and explore Chicago’s art community in a small group atmosphere, with personalized attention.
