Celebrate summer by joining me for an exciting day of looking at art.

Come visit the studio of William J. O’Brien, whose gritty yet whimsical ceramic sculpture and brightly patterned drawings will captivate you. O’Brien had a major survey exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in 2014. His work is in many museum collections including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, the Miami Art Museum and the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles. At Andrew Rafacz Gallery we will see a beautiful group show of 5 artists including Judy Dolnick and Magalie Guérin. The multigenerational painters are connected by their investigation of shape and color and are communicating complex ideas through abstraction. Carmen Neely’s paintings at Mariane Ibrahim Gallery give a feeling of catharsis, bursting with colorful and calligraphic brushstrokes. Enjoy lunch at the delicious Noble Thai restaurant.

Broaden your knowledge of art and explore Chicago’s art community in a small group atmosphere, with personalized attention.
