/Join me for an exciting day that begins with a visit to an artist's studio and continues to explore painting, drawing and sculpture at two Chicago galleries.
Come visit the studio of Jessie Mott whose paintings, drawings and animations focus on themes of identity and power. Mott views her practice as a conversation about the way power and intimacy interact through the forms of her animal-human creatures. Mott’s work has been widely exhibited including at the Arts Club of Chicago, Hawthorn Contemporary, Milwaukee, Hyde Park Art Center and Goldfinch Gallery. Corbett vs. Dempsey will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with a spectacular group exhibit including works by Magalie Guérin, Arturo Herrera, and Rebecca Morris. At Patron Gallery we will see Alice Tippit’s playfully erotic, surrealist inspired paintings that function as visual poems or puns. Enjoy lunch at the delicious Noble Thai restaurant.
Broaden your knowledge of art and explore Chicago’s art community in a small group atmosphere, with personalized attention.
