April 15, 2026
/Celebrate Spring by joining me for an exciting day of looking at art.
Come visit the studio of Soumya Netrabile, whose lyrical abstract paintings are inspired by poetry, opera, and her deep connection to the natural world. Netrabile’s lush, swirling brushstrokes and gorgeous palette draw you in. Her work has been exhibited internationally and acquired by many public collections including the Orange County Museum of Art, Costa Mesa, CA; the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento, CA; and the University Club of Chicago. At Richard Gray Gallery we will see paintings by famed Chicago Imagist Roger Brown. Brown is known for his vibrant, unique painting style and investigation of sociopolitical issues. At Corbett vs. Dempsey we will experience B. Ingrid Olson’s fascinating exhibit, “All Lock No Key.” Olson’s work explores the body and space through photography, sculpture, and installation. She works with carved, found, painted, screen-printed, and photographed materials. Olson participated in the 2024 Whitney Biennial. Enjoy lunch at the delicious Noble Thai restaurant.
Broaden your knowledge of art and explore Chicago’s art community in a small group atmosphere, with personalized attention.
