March 22, 2017

Join me for an exciting day that begins with a visit to an artist's studio and continues on to exploresculpture and painting at two Chicago galleries.

Come see the spectacular studio of internationally renowned sculptor Richard Hunt, whose expressionistic steel sculptures invent new forms and augment shapes found in nature. Hunt's work is in over 35 museum collections including the Museum of Modern Art, NY, the Metropolitan Museum, NY and the Art Institute of Chicago. The Chicago Cultural Center celebrated 60 years of his sculpture in a 2015 retrospective. Molly Zuckerman-Hartung's vibrant paintings –  an explosive array of textures, colors and images – will be exhibited at Corbett vs. Dempsey. At Monique Meloche we will meet Ben Murray, whose sensual paintings investigate the aesthetics of memory. Enjoy lunch at the delicious Takito Kitchen.

Date:  Friday March 22, 2017, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Location:  We meet at Richard Hunt's studio.
