February 28, 2024

Banish the winter blues and join me for an exciting day of looking at art.

Come see the studio of sculptor Chris Bradley, who is interested in the poetics of everyday objects, representation and tromp l’oeil techniques. His striking cast bronze sculpture, “Mnemonic” is currently featured in the 2023 Chicago Architectural Biennial at the Cultural Center. Bradley’s work has been exhibited nationwide including in the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, Atlanta Contemporary and the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. At Corbett vs. Dempsey we will see the fascinating collages of John Sparagana. He transforms images by cutting and remixing iconic pages from magazines and other sources. We will experience Ish Lipman’s intriguing psychological landscape paintings at Andrew Rafacz gallery.  Enjoy lunch at the delicious Southwestern restaurant Flo.

Broaden your knowledge of art and explore Chicago’s art community in a small group atmosphere, with personalized attention.
